    Angry

ok i have already 4 tracks ready to burn en send as a demo to a record company.
i use my ews64XL together with 32mb ram as a sampler under Virtual sampler V1.6 in vst.
Midi 2 sends and receives data from my Roland mc505 wich i use as a sound module/controller box. Midi 1 is connected to an yamaha dx-21 wich i use as a masterkeyboard mainly.
My tracks consist of miditracks going to my mc505 together with samples/fx thru out1 from my ews. all outputs mixed on my eurodesk (behringer) than compressed and amplified ready. No problem.
but know i want to sample the whole mix to get 1 wave which i can burn. I tried ALL mixersettings but it is not possible to record the ews out-1, into IN-2 because the sound starts to loop (flanging) due to the signal coming in on in-2 is fed back to out-1. I DONT WANT THIS...out-1 has to play samples and not again wat is coming in on IN-2
whith a slight delay..it sounds like coming out of a can"!!!! i tried HDrec1.mix till HDrec4.mix and all settings have this problem.

i tried to avoid this by doing it in 2 steps.
step one_ record only my external synths first into a stereo wave in vst. no problem

step two record only the ews digital by connecting dig.out with in and use the hdrec mix setting for digital resampling.
    also no problem
now i got 2 waves which i have to merge to one. the cubase mixdown function doesnt work properly. so i tried to avoid this again by
making a thirth stereo voice to record the first en the second stereo wave in order to get one wave of both.

for some weird reason this wont work...i think it is something with the channels..
    too less or what...

help me ...i dont want to rent or buy additional equipment to make a master because i know my ews is capable of doing this by itself..or not?
Its not my system (celeron 400@550 on a abit BH-6 mb with a fujitsu 13,1GB HD 128mbeccdimm133)fast and stable as hell!!!
    Yours faithfully, Pascal Dautzenberg

    Lightbulb

I'm not sure if this is right but...

You didn't mention, what VST version you have. I think I saw somewhere mentioned that upgrading VST to newest version helps at mixdown problems...

That's all I can help, sorry.
